Category: Let's talk
Hi everyone,
I am well throwing myself a going away party this weekend. I know, how lame is that that none of you;'re friends thought of throwig you one, but here's what I am wondering. What is everyone's fave party games, foods, memories, ect. Just drop in and tell me all your party stuff! It may help me better plan this little shindig of mine. Talk to ya all later, and see ya on the flipside!
The most important aspect of a party, aside from the socializing, is eating. More precisely, gluttony. You have to eat til you can't even move. Pizza and other unheahtly foods are good, and veggies and fruit platters are also good. Chips, chips, chips, chips. LOL A cold beer never hurts either. Let me see, what else? I suck at games so I won't recommend any. Music is nice. Invite me! LOL
I would invite you, but well I dunno, te he! U have to come to hali with me though, and we'll have a super big party ok? lol!
Hot, spicy, food!, nochos!, garlic dip, vegies..., punch mixed with sparkling water, good music, chocolate, your closest people, and..., more food!, (brownies, perhaps?)
Hey Jen. I am going to come to Hali to see you, definitely. And if ever we can drag Miss Glonka to the Maritimes, we will be doing that also! LOL
Mmm brownies!!! Now I want some. And chocolate, lots of chocolate for the energy. And some fruity drink stuffs, either with or without the extra stuff in them is cool. And music!! Music very important.
Actually I've never planned a party so this is just me dreamin and scribbling.
Music of course is essential, especially if you have a good mix and someone to be the DJ and moderate all of it and take requests and stuff. I'd be the DJ at your party if I lived near you. Also, it would be cool to have all the guests bring their CDs so we have a huge mix. A good mix of healthy and unhealthy food and drinks are always good, as long as things like alcohol for those of age is served in moderation and no one's drunk off their asses going home. Telephone is always a great game! That's where everyone sits in a circle and one person whispers something into the next person's ear. That person has to whisper what they heard in the third person's ear and so on. Then, you ask what the person at the end heard, what one of the people in the middle heard, and what was finally said at the beginning. Each person in the group gets to be a beginner, that makes for maybe even hours of fun! Truth or Dare has been a classic favorite of mine. At one party, I played this version that was commercially sold called Truth, Goof, or Dare and I got goof and the task was to wrap myself in a beach towel, roll around in the yard, and yell out "I'm a giant burrito, the one you like to eat o!" Oh, and there's this cool game you do where each person has a cup and you sit around a table and you clap and drum on the cup and move it in weird ways before passing it to the next person and the goal is to get faster with the certain rhythm and see who messes up and then you have to start the game over again. The rhythm thing is kind of hard to explain, so Private Message me if you like the idea and I'll explain how to do it as carefully as I can.
Yes yes what's up people, well yeah, food, I'd agree with spicy food and of course, lots of chocolate, anything chocolate. Lots of alcohol...well if you like/want it, and of course, again, good music! I could also be a DJ and do my mixing if I was neer enough...all my parties usually had too many people to play games just like that, but still, yeah, love parties, haven't had 1 in long time so maybe I will have 1 soon and invite you all or something...lol
